April is a Christian Counselor who believes that counseling is helping others carry their crosses in life. She loves helping people see the faith, hope, and love within themselves and empowering them to face life's challenges. Life will also have its ups and down, but it is how we cope with these trials that causes disharmony in our lives. Furthermore, she tries to help individuals integrate and coordinate their resources within their systems. Therefore, in helping people become aware of who they are and what resources are available for them, it increases their probability of making effective decisions for themselves. Thus, as a counselor, April tries to provide an empathetic atmosphere for her clients to realize that they are not alone in their struggles and they have interpersonal strength to change themselves. Her counseling style is cognitive-behavioral treatment because it is a proven effective way of developing good coping skills for many social and personal issues such as stress, depression, anxiety, anger management, addiction, impulse control, relationship difficulties, and many other mental health problems.
